We spent most of the 4^th of July furniture shopping and building bunk-beds. The kids loved the snaps and the sparklers.

Molly: “Hey! You have the make-ups!” (When I had the hiccups.) AND “I’ve got my ketchups.” (Talking about her littlest pet shop toys.)

Molly was unsuccessful waking Nic up this morning. I asked her if he was being a sleepy head. She said, “No, he has sleepy hair.”

Jovie was getting fussy after a little tummy time today. Clara thought we should give her a little ‘backie’ time instead.

I told Talmage that I could make his toast after I peeled Clara’s orange. He asked me, “Is it going to take a long time?…like a minute?”

Talmage asked, “What are we having for dinner tonight? Wait!…Maybe I should call it ta-EVENING.”

Talmage thinks that the Backyardigans would get things done faster if they didn’t stop to sing and dance all of the time.
