Brooklyn’s Birthday
Brooklyn turned 5 this month. She was happy to have two celebrations – a water party with some of her new friends in the neighborhood on Saturday and a cousin/family party on Sunday (her actual birthday).
For her birthday cake, she requested a BYU cake with a baby cougar on top! Thanks to Nic’s super-frosting skills and his employee discount at the BYU Bookstore, we were happy to oblige.
Brooklyn loved her cake/party/presents. She asked for breakfast burritos for breakfast and Hawaiian haystacks for dinner on her special day. She also thought it was great to get a birthday coupon in the mail for a free kids meal at Wingers.
How fun to have lots of friends and two parties! Clara sure looks like she is enjoying watching the presents emerge from their packages! It reminds me of pictures of Heather watching Jessica or Micah open presents. Good times
